The U2, the Indian Premier League, the White House, E3 etc YouTube has always worked strongly with its partners to give its viewers a wide assortment of live events from all over the world. Now get ready for even more, tune in YouTube as a new chapter of YouTube's live streaming has started. The trial of a new live streaming platform is limited to 2 days i.e. September 13 & 14 only.
This new platform integrates in conjunction with four of YouTube's partners: Next New Networks, Howcast, Rocketboom and Young Hollywood. It is able to live streaming directly into YouTube channels; all the presenters just need a webcam or external USB/FireWire camera. Included in the test is a "Live Comments" module which is a connection with the broadcaster and the broader YouTube community. For the purpose of the trial, this offering is available only for 2 days i.e. September 13 & 14. Based on the results of this initial test, YouTube is going to evaluate rolling out the platform more broadly to their partners worldwide.
