This video channel has a good quality and includes some amazing wildlife and environmental programs filmed in HD.

How easy is it to navigate around the site? We tried and tested it out and graded..
You can click on the program list and get into the individual site of each, selecting videos you want to play.  There is a choice between clips and full episodes, as well as the feature to find the most popular clips.

Is this site invaded by commercials? We watched a range of videos and evaluated how many annoying adverts popped up before we could view what we wanted… .

The ads on this site are annoying.  Not only do you have them within the clip but they are also displayed on the side bar – so you feel a little surrounded and distracted by Discovery.com’s commercial endeavors.

Why is it different to other video sharing sites? We graded on originality and innovation..

Discovery has some great shows and the site includes some excellent information and free TV clips.

However, with ‘in your face’ adverts on the site as well as their range of DVDs and other products regularly given space on the site, you wonder whether the emphasis is on their viewers or their products.  Innovative?  From an advertizing perspective maybe!

This video channel has shows such as ‘How Stuff Works’ and ‘MythBusters’ but there was a lack of full episode clips overall compared to other online TV channels.

Also some TV shows had no full episodes at all.
