The navigation on this site is a dream. Not only is it easy to find exactly what you need, but once you are there, it has video search, and each show has lots of filters to help you find just the right episode. These guys are falling over themselves to be helpful.

Is this site invaded by commercials? We watched a range of videos and evaluated how many annoying adverts popped up before we could view what we wanted… .
There are banner ads and pop ups as well as adverts appearing pre and mid playback. The adverts are annoying but no more so than their TV counterparts.

Why is it different to other video sharing sites? We graded on originality and innovation..
NBC have put time and effort into refining their video site. Not only do they have good quality content but they have thought of some great additional features to their site.
Their NBC Communicator tool merges social networking with free TV and the result enables viewers to watch TV online and chat about programs or life in general. The NBC Viewing Club puts viewers in the driving seat allowing them to instigate public viewings of particular episodes, inviting friends to join in and includes the chat facility throughout.
NBC therefore takes hanging out online one step closer to real life sofa surfing whilst chilling out with friends.

The video company has a growing diversity of partners including ‘top movie studios, music labels, professional sports leagues, television networks, video game publishers and best-of-the-web production firms’.

The site appears to have lofty creative aspirations and be innovative in its approach but we are not so sure about its audience - 2 out of their top 3 top video channels are porn!
