Netmovies-download.com offers a flash website and is accompanied by lots of online marketing lauding their services. It promotes video online downloads for ’80 million’ music, games and movie files.  Dozenvideo.com decided to investigate further – just how hot are these guys?

Netmovies-download.com is a slick site that encourages you to download their software to access a range of movies, music and games.  They charge $34.95 for a lifetime of free, no limit downloads.  All sounds good so far….

… that is until you find out that the software on offer is P2P file sharing software that you can pick up for free all over the web.

How easy is it to navigate around the site? We tried and tested it out and graded..
It doesn’t really matter how good the navigation is, at the end of the day you are being navigated towards free video files but have just parted with $35.

Why is this site different to other streaming sites? This grades the originality of the site. .
The site offers minimal information. You have to pay before you can access any real information.  Even the link to the FAQ on their homepage fails to load – so many will sign up without proper knowledge of what is on offer.  The site implies you are signing up for legal downloads but in fact you are file sharing which doesn’t come with the same guarantees.

Support?  Minimal information.  Misleading sales blurb.  No pre-registration help.  Support wasn’t noticeably and intentionally missing from this deceptive site.
