Torrentz.com state that they “will gladly remove any links at copyright owner’s request and to prove it they have a Takedown Policy. They claim to have a ‘spotless relationship with copyright owners’ and ‘respect reasonable copyrights’.
A torrent is any file an uploader wishes to share. The content on the sites that Torrentz searches will all have their own policies on copyright but the onus seems to be on responding to requests to remove rather than policing uploads.  
Do we think all the content is legit?  With millions of files being uploaded around the globe, even if the will was there, it is doubtful all content could be effectively screened.
