Rapid Realization

This site looked quite lackluster when compared to the ‘big shots’ like to the BBC or CBS sites. The design, fonts and general appearance just didn’t cut the mustard. It looked positively dated next to the competition.
Rapidsharemovieshd appears to have taken a bit of a ‘no frills’ approach – you land on a home page with no welcome or explanation and are just expected to get on with the main business of your selection.

Why is it different to other HD video websites? We graded on originality and innovation..

This site seems to emulate their bigger, richer competitors. It is hard to find anything particularly innovative about the site other than to mention that it is refreshing to see small operations such as this offering their services within the industry.

How easy is it to navigate around the site? Are videos neatly categorized? Can you find videos or links by genre or date? We tried and tested it out and graded..

The navigation on the site is quite good. It is split into video, HD video and TV. All the online videos and shows are categorized on the home page and then come up in a list, with each having details about the cast and plot as well as a rating.
The list though, is pages long and you have to scroll through to see what’s on offer. They would have been better off with just the video box image of each film, with all the details being retrieved once this is clicked on.

The films are all studio released and the quality is good. RapidsharemoviesHD advise viewers to view them in Mozilla Firefox for optimum quality.

Speed of software. How long does it take to watch a video or download here? Are there clear instructions or will this give my computer a virus? .

The free service is purposefully show and often doesn’t seem to work at all. The premium service is cheap though, €6.99 for 30 days through to €54.99 for a full year. The downloading element of this site, along with much of the other content, highlights the vast gap between the small, independent venture and big corporates.

At the end of the day, we never accessed a single free video and got a different reason each time so the site really is in danger of promising a service it is unable to keep. The name of the site is Rapid Share but there was certainly nothing rapid about the downloading side of their service.

There is a good range of categories but the range within each varied. Animation, for example, had just two videos listed.

I checked this site very recently and I found that It doesn't exists anymore, because it might have been in verge of its extinction Dozen was compelled to keep it in flops.
