You need to be a member to upload. The max file size is 150 MB with a length of up to twenty minutes. The length of uploads on Daily Motion is twice that of rivals, YouTube. 
The video site has clear terms of use and a simple privacy policy.
Perhaps to encourage an eclectic range of content, the site caters for uploads from mobiles and cameras as well as PCs.
