Channelchooser is offers free online streaming of a massive range of TV channels.  They cover shows across a range of categories including news, entertainment, sports and music.

Their catchphrase is ‘pick, push, play’, highlighting the simplicity of their service.  Lots of content?  Quick to view?  Sounds great… but is it?

The quality of images on the channels we viewed was generally good but we did experience buffer problems and a few broken links.

How easy is it to navigate around the site? We tried and tested it out and graded..

Online streaming can be searched from a list of countries which are sorted in alphabetical order.  Once you have made a selection there is a list of channels to choose from.

We were a little perplexed after clicking on the Movie section and being transported straight through to the Amazon Video on Demand site.  We then tried the Mobile section but this didn’t load at all.

Navigation should be steadfast and take you where you expect to go. This site had way too many surprises for us.

Why is this site different to other streaming sites? This grades the originality of the site. .

Let’s face it – there are other TV and video on demand sites doing exactly the same thing as Channel Chooser.

To stand out from the crowd you need to provide a service of notable high quality or offer something different from the rest.  This site did neither.
