Netflix is a company straddling two forms of technology – it has one foot in old technology, with an online DVD service using postal delivery. The other foot is firmly in the twenty-first century, offering an online streaming service delivered to PCs or Netflix-ready devices such as TVs.

Why is this site different to other streaming sites? This grades the originality of the site. .
Netflix has demonstrated that it can move with the times. Its continued operation across two technologies shows its understanding of a market in transition and of a customer base that has a range of needs.
Whilst Netflix do not offer anything new, they have some great monthly deals that can work out cheaper than individual downloads.  
Their reading of the market and the packaging of their product is their innovation and their strength.

The video company has a growing diversity of partners including ‘top movie studios, music labels, professional sports leagues, television networks, video game publishers and best-of-the-web production firms’.

The site appears to have lofty creative aspirations and be innovative in its approach but we are not so sure about its audience - 2 out of their top 3 top video channels are porn!
